Trieste: Independence Day 2021
September 15th, 2021 is the 74th anniversary of the establishment of the Free Territory of Trieste, and the anniversary of the coming into force of the Treaty of Peace between the Allied and Associated Powers and Italy of 10 February 1947.
The Free Trieste Movement has celebrated this anniversary with a flag raising ceremony at San Giovanni di Duino – Štivan, on the border crossing of the present-day Free Territory with Italy.
