Vienna, 9 September 2014 – Trieste Libera News recorded Free Trieste‘s press conference about the Movement’s notice of default to the Italian Government.
The document addresses the Italian Government in its role of temporary civil administrator of the present-day Free Territory of Trieste, a small European State with the only international Free Port in the world.
Free Trieste presented the document in Vienna: indeed, Austria is one of the States with ordinary and special rights over the international Free Port of Trieste. However, like many other Countries, Austria is prevented from enjoying its rights by the Italian Government’s faulty conduction of Trieste’s administration.
The notice of default explains this situation in detail, but it does also include a draft-decree and outlines to re-establish the correct administration of Trieste’s international Free Port for the advantage of all Countries, including Italy.
