Clarification about disciplinary actions

Mr. Alessandro Gotti, Vito Potenza, Adriano Ciacchi, and Alessandro Gombač all published on their own initiative the news about disciplinary measures against them. In particular, Mr. Gotti was expelled, and the others suspended.

This news, accompanied by untrue information about the disciplinary measures, was also spread on websites that falsely claim to belong to the Movement, and even listing the names of the members of the Management Board that approved the sanctions, thus deliberately exposing them to unfair reprobation and to possible retaliations.

In view of all of this, Free Trieste has the duty to confirm the news, which was supposed to remain internal, about the disciplinary actions taken. Furthermore, the aforementioned four people, and a fifth they have not mentioned, were punished for committing severe breaches of the Movement’s Statute, purposes, and principles of legality and democracy.

The Free Trieste Movement reserves further actions in defense of the organization, its members, and of the important legal battle it carries out.
