One of the first tasks of Trieste’s British-US Government was to demarcate the borders of the Free Territory with Italy, pursuant art. 4 of the Treaty of Peace.

11 February 2016: Free Trieste addressed the Commissioner of the Italian Government requesting new border signs of the Trieste – Italy State border.
Trieste 10 February: celebration for the anniversary of the Peace Treaty
10 February 2016: Free Trieste has celebrated the anniversary of the 1947 Treaty of Peace with Italy with two demonstrations and two official requests.
