THE ATTEMPTED OCCUPATION OF THE FREE TRIESTE MOVEMENT IS STRONGLY INFLUENCED BY AUTHORITATIVE, CORRUPT ITALIAN CIRCLES
It is becoming evident that the ongoing attack against the Free Trieste Movement, so far the only political movement to challenge the simulation of Italian sovereignty over the present-day Free Territory of Trieste and its international Free Port is driven by the pressing of the rather suspicious circles that have also supported the golpe to silence those standing for Trieste’s rights on the path of legality.
The action was well-planned. Free Trieste’s social networks and former website were occupied and used to claim the resignation of the Management board to summon an extraordinary assembly and elect a new one.
All of this with the support of a disinformation campaign and a public lynching of the heads of the Movement who, starting with the President, are insulted, threatened, even on the personal level.
A well-oiled, propaganda machine worth a dictatorship: its core are the Movemen’s four founding members Alessandro Gombač – Giombi, Arlon Stok, Stefano Ferluga, and Adriano Ciacchi.
They have lead the golpe.
An attack from the inside, but directed from the outside, and supported the violent aggression to gain control of the legal battle for the rights of this independence of a State. An independence much disliked by certain Italian circles and by the promoters of the golpe.
During their illegitimate assembly, held on May 31st [2014], the “new leaders” revealed their plans for Trieste’s future.
Denying international actions for the Free Territory’s rights. Running for the 2016 municipal election. The Free Trieste Movement would never do any of that.
Running in that election would mean either participating in the simulation of Italian sovereignty over the present-day FTT or implying that, simply enough, Trieste is a part of Italy: this would end all hopes for the rule of law in Trieste and in its international Free Port.
That’s it: this is the political project of these who propose an impossible economic development for Trieste by partial enforcement of the Treaty of Peace.
Traitors.
But there is more. Since there is even Italian separatists supporting them from many Italian regions, the promoters of the golpe are also willing to rise useless tensions with the neighboring Republics of Slovenia and Croatia, re-opening the question of former Zone B. Which explains also their sudden alliance with Italian nationalists.
And, in order to attack the pro-law side of the Free Trieste Movement, they were ruthless enough to use persons which can be blackmailed for traffic and pushing drugs, for frauds, for violence and for other crimes. This is how the “renewal” works: trying to put the only Movement that can save Trieste in the hands of criminals controlled by representatives of the local nationalistic “camorra”.
But they won’t make it. Because Trieste’s honest citizens won’t give up. Not this time: we are fighting for the FTT, until the end.
