Newspaper “Il Piccolo”: affluence drops. Only 53% of the electors voted.

Trieste Libera News: Municipal elections??? Let us send them all back home with declarations of abstention and calling for compulsory administration! (find the needed forms in the newspaper).

The Free Trieste Movement, which did not enter electoral rolls, is satisfied of its campaign calling for the passive and active abstention from voting. The Movement notes that half of the Municipality of Trieste’s voters embraced this choice.

This abstention rate halves the actual representativeness of the candidates admitted to a second ballot, Dipiazza and Cosolini, to 20% and 15% respectively. Also, the representativeness of excluded third candidate Menis drops to 10%, and the fake pro-independence parties of Potenza, Marchesich, Sponza, as well as those other, smaller parties are cleared out.

According to Free Trieste, this results confirms the coherence of its policy to not run for elections, and it now opens its campaign to have the municipalities of Trieste and Muggia placed under compulsory administration.
