On 29 February, in the Court of Trieste, happened something important. For the first time, some citizens of Trieste, unfairly under trial for defending the rule of law in the Free Territory of Trieste have rebelled to the Italian judge who had refused to recognize the existence of the legitimate jurisdiction of the Free Territroy. Facing the refusal of the judge, four citizens of the Free Territory of Trieste declared that they do no longer recognize the legitimacy of the decisions taken and left the Courtroom (LINK).

What has appena on that day, in that Courtroom, is very important. This is why all media did carefully hide it. Just imagine what would happen if all citizens of Trieste questioned in such terms Italian authorities the, in beach of the mandare of temporary civil administration entrusted to their Government, simulate the sovereignty of the Italian Republic over the present-day Free Territory of Trieste, starting from the judiciary. This is a revolution of legality that scare those who, up to this moment, could do as they pleased in a lawless land just by hiding behind a ferocious and anachronistic nationalism.

Because the four citizens of the Free Territory who made that gesture of great value, exercising their right, are the tip of an iceberg of the increasing dissatisfaction, fueled by misery and despair.

Trieste is dying while its resources are ransacked in the name of the bordering Republic of Italy and its mafias. Economic suffocation without salvation, which did not even spare the precious Northern Free Port that the accused were defending together from no less than speculations under anti-mafia questions supported, across the board, by all political circles and their supporters in Rome.

And so, the city-State that could have been the Singapore of Europe, is now trapped under the rubble of n economic crisis in which it was involved by Italy. In breach of international law, of course. Because Trieste and its port have no public debt. But Italy forced the payment of its own government debt on the little independent State. And this causes its agony.

When the rule of law is substituted with the arbitrary of the strongest one, any form of civil coexistence disappears: this is what is happening in Trieste.

One of the elements of the illegal simulation of sovereignty consists in no less than the arbitrary extension of Italian laws to the Free Territory of Trieste (which the Commissioner of the Government is no longer doing) and in the subtraction of the fights of all citizens. Italy is taking the whole assets of the Free Territory of Trieste, including the international Free Port and again, the only opponents were the  I.P.R. F.T.T. (International Provisional Representative of the Free Territory of  Trieste), Free Trieste and its supporters, as explained in this analysis by La Voce di Trieste: LINK).

And the citizens of the Free Territory of Trieste who oppose to the abuses committed by Italian Authorities are threatened by public security forces that serve this state of illegality. remo men against harmless, undefended civilians. This is what happens in 2016, in this little place of Europe in the middle of the World, where world order has been reverted, but shall be restored with the strength of legality and law.
