Friday, 30 October [2015], at 11.30, in its headquarter of piazza della Borsa 7, Free Trieste hosts representatives of political organizations from Southern-Tyrol, Austria and the Czech Republic to hold a press conference about “The State and Free Port of Trieste for a new Mitteleuropa”.
It is the organizations that support Free Trieste’s Petition to the EU Parliament to regularize the relations between Trieste and the EU, as well as the newly established International Provisional Representative of the Free Territory of Trieste – I.P.R. F.T.T., which has already revealed the roles of the first managers and delegates in the USA, in Austria, in the Czech Republic and in the United Nations.
The joint press conference is now introducing the plan to make Trieste the new maritime hub of a new, more united, stable and prosperous Mitteleuropa created by intensifying the relations between the little States of the Adriatic-Danube region, in particular the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
