AN NGO ESTABLISHED UNDER BRITISH LAW ATTACKS THE FREE TRIESTE MOVEMENT.
Even a foreign NGO participates in the violent campaign against the Free Trieste Movement.
It was four out of the six “founders” to unleash this attack. After taking over Free Trieste’s Facebook and website, subtracting the Movement’s members data, they summoned an illegitimate extraordinary assembly to declare the disqualification of the Management Board and of the President.
And it seems like a London-based NGO has widely supported them. Even if, by its nature, such an organization should not engage in any political activity.
Instead, Triest “NGO” provided its own mailing list to send the invitation to the May 31st assembly summoned by the “Board of founding members”, illegitimately, in Free Trieste’s name.
This NGO should have protected Trieste’s citizens and their rights internationally. Instead, is has joined a criminal, destabilizing action against Free Trieste. Which means, against the only political organization that is standing for the re-establishment of the rule of law in the present-day Free Territory of Trieste.
Really? Unfortunately yes. This further, cowardly step in the attempt to bend the cause of the Free Territory on its knees is disgusting.
I am one of that NGO’s founders: noble ideals have ended up in the hands of people that only now show their true colors.
The idealists, those who believe in the cause of the FTT, have quickly been expelled from this NGO. Those left are ruthless people putting the people’s rights at stake, and gambling with Trieste’s very future.
