Document S/2015/809 of 23 October 2015 has confirmed the Free Territory of Trieste’s legal status, including its right to an own, independent judiciary.
One of the first tasks of Trieste’s British-US Government was to demarcate the borders of the Free Territory with Italy, pursuant art. 4 of the Treaty of Peace.
11 February 2016: Free Trieste addressed the Commissioner of the Italian Government requesting new border signs of the Trieste – Italy State border.
