Basovizza (Trieste): about the nationalistic provocation that took place on June 2nd, 2021
On July 2nd, in Trieste, unknown provokers attempted to cause nationalistic tensions by hanging offensive leaflets, written in Slovenian, on the monument of the “foiba di Basovizza”. Well-nown provokers later proceeded to amplify the incident.
The Free Trieste Movement deplores this and other attempts to divert public attention from the current, dramatic and concrete, problems consisting in poverty, unemployment, and the crisis that is affecting businesses.
