On July 2nd, in Trieste, unknown provokers attempted to cause nationalistic tensions by hanging offensive leaflets, written in Slovenian, on the monument of the “foiba di Basovizza”. Certain provokers then proceeded to amplify the event.
The Free Trieste Movement deplores this and other attempts to divert public attention from the current, dramatic and concrete, problems consisting in poverty, unemployment, and the crisis that is affecting businesses.
