Free Trieste: immediate criminal complaint versus the Commissioner of the Government

Trieste, July 7th, 2016. – The Free Trieste Movement filed a case at the local Prosecution office against the Commissioner of the Italian Government in Trieste, Annapaola Porzio, following her July 6th “Communication” claiming that the Free Territory of Trieste does not exist, as well as threatening with economic and criminal punishment the citizens who address her office with tax objections based on disputing the collection of Italian taxes in Trieste.

Free Trieste’s complaint revolves on the following, aggravated alleged crimes: ideological falsehood committed by a public officer in a public act (art. 479, Italian Criminal Code) for pretending that the Free Territory of Trieste does not exist; refusal and omission to perform Official Functions (articles 328 and 329, Italian Criminal Code) for omitting to answer properly to the thousand of appeals of the citizens, threaten (art. 612, Italian Criminal Code) for announcing sanctions against them abuse of office (art. 323, Italian Criminal Code), for using her powers for those purposes.

The complaint does also underline how the Commissioner acted by means of the Fascist regime.

Furthermore, the legal act is being forwarder for information to the I.P.R. F.T.T. – International Provisional Representative of the Free Territory of Trieste, and to it delegates in view of «pertinent international legal actions against the administering Italian Government for breach of its international mandate, and against the Italian State for breach of the Treaty of Peace of 10 February 1947».
