Trieste, February 26th, 2015. – Politicians of the Renzi Government are hiding their recent approval of Gas Natural’s debated LNG terminal in Trieste.
Free Trieste lodged its opposition to the so-called “Mini LNG terminal” in the Lisert area. The opposition is based on environmental and legal arguments.
If the Italian Government won’t react before March 19th, 2014, Spanish Company Gas Natural’s LNG terminal in Trieste may be green-lit.
On January 22nd, 2013 in Brussels the European Parliament’s Petitions Committee is reviewing three petitions against LNG terminals in the Gulf of Trieste.
