Immediate criminal complaint of Free Trieste versus the Commissar of the Government

The Free Trieste Movement denounced to the Prosecution Office the Commissar of the Italian Government in Trieste, Annapaola Porzio on the 7th of July for a “Communication” published on the 6th of July, claiming that the Free Territory of Trieste does not exist, and threatening with pecuniary and criminal sanctions the citizens who presented the declaration of tax objection with reasons against the imposition of taxes of the State of Italy in Trieste.

The complaint revolves on the following, aggravated alleged crimes: ideological falsehood committed by a public officer in a public act (art. 479, Italian Criminal Code) for pretending that the Free Territory of Trieste does not exist; refusal and omission to perform Official Functions (articles 328 and 329, Italian Criminal Code) for omitting to answer properly to the thousand of appeals of the citizens, threaten (art. 612, Italian Criminal Code) for announcing sanctions against them abuse of office (art. 323, Italian Criminal Code), for using her powers for those purposes.

The complaint of the Free Trieste Movement does also inform that the Commissar of the Government acted by means of the Fascist regime, also, the act is forwarder for information to the I.P.R. F.T.T. – International Provisional Representative of the Free Territory of Trieste, and it delegates it to all «pertinent international legal actions against the administering Italian Government for breach of its international mandate, and against the Italian State for breach of the Treaty of Peace of 10 February 1947».
