Roberto Giurastante: the intimidation attempt of public security forces on the border

Yesterday, Sunday 13 March 2016, the President of the Free Trieste Movement – FTM, Roberto Giurastante, made a declaration to explain what has happened during the sit-in on the border of State between the Free Territory of Trieste and Italy, where public security forces intervened to remove the temporary road signs arranged by the activists of the same Movement.

Since the supporters of Free Trieste refused to execute the order to remove the signs, on the base of their international rights, instead of addressing the Commissar of the Government as they requested, the agents that were already there removed all signs by force.

This prevarication won’t stop the actions for legality of Free Trieste, which keeps working for the correct enforcement of the 1947 Treaty of Peace with Italy and to defend the border of State of the – present-day FTT.

Further vides to explain this matter and the dates of the next sit-ins are going to be released soon: we are within the law. Watch the video (in Italian with English subtitles): LINK
