Synthesis and document of the procedure with which Free Trieste is blocking the illegal speculations on the Northern Free Port

Monday, August 24th: the Free Trieste Movement held a press conference in its piazza della Borsa 7 office, Trieste. During the event, the Movement lodged a new request to register and assign the ownership of the Northern Free Port as “State Property of the Free Territory of Trieste – International Free Port of Trieste“.
This procedure stops all the notorious operations of local Italian politicians and officers who are illegally attempting a “sdemanializzazione” which would mean, removing the Northern Free Port from State Property and port use in general, only to hand it over to the Municipality of Trieste for it to sell it on the real estate market for the advantage of building and housing speculators.
